Youth Groups
The Scaladale Centre is the perfect base from which youth groups can experience the great outdoors. Our extremely comfy and modern accommodation ensures smiles all round at the end of a long day. Come in, take off wet and dirty clothes, have a long hot shower and relax or on the other hand you can enjoy the many games, videos provided or if the weather permits, laze the evening away with a barbeque sitting outside in our picnic area, or take a walk on the many routes around the Centre. 
Our location makes it ideal for groups who wish to discover the Islands of Harris and Lewis. Enjoy the many sights, beautiful beaches, history and incredible landscape of Harris. Or visit Lewis and its many historical sites such as the Callanish Stones or the Carloway Broch, the main town of Stornoway and lovely beaches. The Centre Manager can happily guide you to the best sites or make up an itinerary for your group. 
The Centre can also provide many outdoor activities for your group to experience and never forget. Why not try abseiling down a few of the many rock faces around Harris, kayaking on one of the most stunning beaches in Harris, trying your hand at Archery at the Centre, raft building, problem solving games and activities, guided walks and much more. At the Centre itself there are many games and equipment to keep groups amused such as basketballs, footballs, tennis gear, beach games, parachute, board games, carpet bowls - the list goes on! |
